Protect Yourself from Recruitment Text Scams

We’ve recently been made aware of individuals impersonating Ashley Kate HR & Finance and our consultants through text messages, offering fake job opportunities. These messages are not from us and are attempts to steal your personal information or money.

What’s Happening

Scammers are sending texts that appear to come from Ashley Kate HR & Finance, sometimes using real consultant names or referencing genuine roles to seem credible. They might promise quick job placements, high pay, or ask you to click a link or share personal details.

How to Spot a Recruitment Scam

  • Check the number: We will never contact you from an unverified mobile number or messaging app like WhatsApp or Telegram.

  • Don’t click links: Avoid tapping on links in unsolicited messages. These often lead to fake websites designed to collect your data.

  • Never share personal or financial details: Legitimate Ashley Kate HR & Finance consultants will never ask for payment, banking details, or ID documents via text.

  • Be cautious of urgency: Scammers often use pressure tactics such as “immediate start” or “limited opportunity.” Take your time to verify first.

  • Trust your instincts: If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t.

What To Do If You’re Unsure

If you’ve received a suspicious text claiming to be from Ashley Kate HR & Finance:

  • Do not respond or click any links.

  • Report the scam to Action Fraud.

  • Or contact us directly by phone or email – we’ll be happy to verify if the communication is genuine.

Stay Safe

Your safety and trust are our priority. We’re committed to protecting candidates from fraud and ensuring that every interaction with Ashley Kate is genuine and professional.
