Recruitment Manager (Ref: 1003-21GR)

Our client is a UK wide retailer currently looking to recruit a Recruitment Manager for an assignment based in the North East, with occasional travel throughout the UK.

Supported by a small team, this is a project focussed position. The post holder will undertake a complete review of the existing recruitment, selection and induction methodologies currently utilised and help develop more efficient policies and procedures to improve efficiency and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement a Recruitment Tracking system that will track talent across the business
* Recruit a small recruitment team to meet growing recruitment demands and peak recruitment times
* Carry out a full review of existing policies and procedures currently used within the business
* Identify variances between business streams in relation to existing policies and procedures
* Prepare a detailed gap analysis of shortcomings in the existing policy and set out clear recommendations, advising where the company may be exposed to excessive risk
* Review the effectiveness of existing attraction strategies, working towards minimising agency spend
* Review the existing recruitment KPI's and make recommendation on any amendments
* Design a structured recruitment framework which will involve competency questions and exercises and pre-screening short-listing processes
* Introduce mechanisms to improve the candidate experience and journey

We are looking for someone who is available for an immediate start with experience of the above and a proven track record in an internal recruitment specialist position. You must have had previous experience of working with candidate tracking systems to be considered.
