Our client is a well known and prestigious organisation who prides themselves on working to exceptionally high standards whilst also adding value throughout the department. You will join the HR team as an interim HR Advisor on a contract that will run up to December 2012, reporting directly into the HR Manager and supporting over 6000 people across all business divisions.
For the role, candidates will need to be able to work flexibly whilst adding value and contributing to the strategy of HR across departments. You will be experienced in the following:
• Design and implantation of policies and procedures that adhere to legal framework
• Undertake complex casework and deliver suitable outcomes for managers and employees
• High level knowledge of Disciplinary & Grievances up to all stages including appeals
• To line manage HR Assistants within the department on a day to day basis
• To provide generalist support to line managers on a wide range of people management issues including employee relations, workforce planning & recruitment and selectionYou will need to be CIPD qualified and have at least 3 years experience as a HR Advisor with line management experience who can demonstrate handling high volume casework whilst having excellent employment law knowledge. You will need to be an excellent communicator and be able to influence at all levels including senior management. The successful candidate for this role will look to gain experience in a range of key employment areas whilst thriving in a fast paced and demanding role. This post is looking for little to no notice period and candidates should be available to interview on May 1st 2012.
