    Ashley Kate are delighted to be working with a company that have become the largest supplier in their industry within the UK.  Due to recent growth and expansion they are now looking to recruit a HR Officer to provide support and assist in recruitment, staffing, training, development and performance management. 

    You will be responsible for processing all starters and leavers including producing employee contracts in line with the company legislative procedure.  Working with the HR Administrator you will ensure that all recruitment, selection, induction and probation processes support the objectives and values of the company.  You will undertake allocated ER casework and oversee the sickness and wellbeing project ensuring that the Head of HR is kept fully informed of relevant situations.  

    Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

    •    Good knowledge and understanding of employment legislation
    •    Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in writing, by telephone and via electronic communication services (email, internet)
    •    ICT skills including:  accurate word processing, maintenance of databases, use of spreadsheets
    •    Ability to work on own initiative, establish priorities, plan own work and meet deadlines
    •    Accuracy and attention to detail
    •    Commitment to confidentiality
    •    Flexible approach to duties
    •    Commitment to team work
    •    Report Writing Skills
